Time to stitch

If you've been following my artsy adventures you'll know I am not a seed-bead person. Heck, I am quite afraid of seed beads and so far I used them only in wire crochet.

Looking for a nice rope stitch for a project I promised my son, I had to watch a few videos and try my hands at the spiral rope (nope, it didn't go as well as I hoped, it is all un-stitched now :)). During my video-watching I stumbled upon the St. Petersburg stitch (now I wish to recall where!) and it looked like an interesting and not very hard one to try. But what for?

Well, today, visiting Therese's blog I saw her post Time to Stitch (2) and I entered the challenge. It's a great way to try and learn something new. Maybe I'll figure out what to use the stitch for too!

Anyhow - you still have time to enter: if you are a total beginner like me or an expert, this is a fun challenge!

I hope you'll join us!

    1. Thank you, Therese! I will probably ask myself soon 'what was I thinking?!' :) Or maybe not... who knows? What if I like it?!?
