Beads in the mail

Since I haven't done anything in the past 6 weeks (vacation, work, crazy-busy home, and taxes - bleah), it'll be hard to show you a new piece :)

However, in these past weeks I've been hoarding new beads. The treasure from my mom opened the door and in trickled other packages. Some are coming from the CBC de-stash from 2 weeks ago (I got one package already, and hoping for more this week), one is from Lisa's Holiday Blog Hop (I need to take pictures of that beauty!) and there are 2 I would like to talk about today.

One is an order from Fusionmuse - Tanya displayed a picture of Larimar stones and I simply could not resist. Would you?

Larimar from FusionMuse :: All Pretty Things

Look at those perfect facets and at the lustre - to say nothing about the colour. Have you ever seen a more beautiful colour?! I was in love with Larimar before, but since I got these beauties I am just watching them shinning my world :) Still gathering enough courage to tackle them - hopefully this coming week (wish me luck, please!)

The second - was a gorgeous surprise. I received an email not long ago from Magpie with this introduction:

"You are one of my top referring sites and I would like to thank you with a set of gemstone beads from Magpie Gemstones."

I read and re-read the email, wondering if it's a scam or not. Checked the email address and details, everything seemed perfectly legit. And it was! Szarka simply decided to thank me for something I wasn't even aware I was doing (apparently people really click the buttons on my blog :)). Isn't that nice of her? And for sure a great way to start a relationship :) A few days later a new package in my inbox:

Fancy Jasper, Soo Chow Jade from Magpie :: All Pretty Things

A strand of the most beautiful jasper I've ever seen (Fancy Jasper, high-quality) and a focal made out of Soo Chow Jade (I had to google to figure out what that might be). And a length of leather cord - just what I needed! The colours are perfect for fall and they'll become something fancy soon.

Ain't I lucky? Treasures everywhere :)

    1. Thanks, Leah - and the pictures is only part of the reality. They are the most shinny blue little things I've ever seen! Working on it - but I need to finish a couple of challenges first :)
